He collects several buckets, which he fills with water, then tells his family that whenever they need any of the precious liquid, they must ask him and he'll bring it to them. All goes seemingly well - except that in his haste to carry water to those that need it all around the house, he inadvertently spills quite a bit. It seems that he has not been saving water, but wasting it - until he is reassured by his family.

Zack and Lily are exploring Zerby Town forest when they come across a rock that's a little too high to get up on. With Strut the crane busy, Fill the front loader comes by to help. Fill can lift Zack and Lily in his scoop to the top of the rock, but when he tries he finds out that Zerbies are heavier than a scoopful of dirt, and he can't keep his balance. At first, Lily balances on the back of Fill to weigh him down so he can lift Zack. But when Zack gets to the top of the rock and its Lily's turn to ride in the scoop, there's no one to balance on the back of Fill. Before long the Zerbies realize they can use a rock on Fill's back to help him keep his balance while he lifts Lily.

Ryder and the PAW Patrol have to fix the chomped Barn and Fence, but that's just the beginning. Chompy has been chowing down all over town! Chase has to track the busy Beaver, while the rest of the Pups help rebuild Chompy's home.

Whiff is excited as Scruff the Scruncher is arriving to help him at the Waste Dump. It's Thomas's job to collect Scruff and bring him to the Waste Dump. Thomas meets Scruff at Brendham Docks and sees that Scruff is really quite scruffy and a bit dirty. Thomas decides it would be useful to give Scruff a clean before he starts his new job at the Waste Dump. Thomas brings the cleaners from the washdown to wash Scruff but before they can wash Scruff, Scruff races off. Thomas realises that Scruff is hiding in a siding and there is nothing he can do to persuade Scruff to come out. Gordon, Percy and Henry try to help Thomas come out of the siding too but Scruff just won't come out. Thomas then realises that Scruff doesn't want to be clean at all - he just wants to be scruffy. Thomas takes Scruff to the waste dump where he works with Whiff. Scruff gets messier and scruffier and just loves it!

O The Indignity!
Gordon is horrified when the Fat Controller announces that he is to take charge of Whiff's Waste Dump for the day. Gordon arrives at the waste dump and decides that the only thing for it is to hide when other engines arrive at the dump. Gordon just cannot be seen at such a smelly place! As the day progresses Gordon hides from Spencer, Diesel and Thomas. As Gordon hides from each engine the waste trucks get higher and higher and Whiff's Waste Dump becomes smellier and smellier. The Fat Controller arrives with Whiff to state of chaos. What Gordon didn't realise is that the railway inspector is arriving to view the Waste Dump. Gordon realises he has been a silly engine! He gets straight to work to clean up the mess, and with Whiff's help everything is clean and tidy for the inspector's visit.

You see there was a time when Snake did have legs... hundreds and hundreds of them. But poor old Snake had no eyes, not a single eye on his head. Then on the day of the great Tinga Tinga Festival of Colours Snake quite literally bumped into Millipede who was stuck in a hole. They decided to swap eyes and legs just for one day. So that Snake could see all the wonderful colours and Millipede could run all over Tinga Tinga. But when Snake came back to return Millipede's eyes, Millepede couldn't be found anywhere! So to this day, Snake has no legs. Tales from Africa.

The others protest but then realise they are being selfish to insist she stay and that Suki should follow her heart. Suki is tempted, but when it's time to go, she has a change of heart and realises that she doesn't want to leave her friends for a life in the movies.

Ferry Windy Day
Zack and Fran the Ferry are out for a ride around Zerby Town Lake on a very windy day. When the joy riding is over Fran tries to land at the docks. But it turns out, landing in the wind is difficult. When she approaches the first time, the wind blows her way off course, into the reeds at the side of the lake. She backs up and tries again, this time starting further to the side, she gets to the dock but blows past before Zack can get off and tie her up. The next time she comes in on an angle so she can stay still in the wind, but the angle is too hard for Zack to get off onto the dock. Finally, Zack realizes that they should use the wind to help them. Fran lines up with the dock in such a way that the wind blows her up against the dock instead of away from it. This allows Zack to get off and tie her up.

The Drill Engine Train burrows into an underground limestone cave, where the Pteranodon Family meets some strange creatures without eyes called ,troglobites., In a contest to see who would make the best troglobite, Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, and Don participate in a treasure hunt - with their eyes closed! The kids have to rely on their other senses (with some guidance from the actual troglobites) to navigate the cave and find the prize. --- While digging even further underground, the drill bit on the Drill Engine Train breaks. The Pterandon Family find themselves in the Cave of Giant Crystals, where they learn all about rocks and crystals (what they are, how they're different, how they form). In order to get back home, the Pteranodon Family has to fix the drill bit by finding a mineral harder than the mineral that broke the bit in the first place.

Flop persuades Bing to go inside, out of the rain, but Bing is upset that his shadow is getting wet in the garden. With the aid of a flashlight Flop shows Bing that shadows never go far from their owners.

Lily tries shaking a tree, but the only tree that's small enough for her to shake is too small for Zack to see. Finally, they hit upon the idea of using something they can both see (an old, dead tree) to drive towards until they find each other.

Alex is working towards getting his Action Scouts Fire Safety Badge, and who better to help him learn all about Fire Safety than Marshall and the Paw Patrol! All the pups join Alex and Mr. Porter at their campsite and go through all the steps to build and extinguish a camp fire. Alex gets to put his newly learned skills to the test when a frightened deer scatters ashes and hot coals around the campsite. --- It's just another regular day in Adventure Bay as the Paw Patrol is called to duty. First they have to help Mr. Porter who has his rump stuck in a stump which turns out to be the home of a neighbourhood skunk! Luckily Marshall's water cannons can be filled with tomato juice. After that stinky rescue, they're called to City Hall to get Chickaletta down from the top of the building. As Chase's net catches the falling fowl, all the pups notice that City Hall has been decorated for a big celebration. Surprise! It's Paw Patrol Appreciation Day. Pup Pup Horray!

While visiting the Academy map room to prepare for their trip, Coot shows them an ancient map of the outer planets with scary names for some unexplored regions: the Fog of Confusion, Giant Protector of Uranus, and the Evil Winds of Neptune. Undaunted, Raven and Hawk make it to the far side of the Solar System but encounter unusual occurrences, just as predicted by the map! Will they be able to identify the mysteries as natural phenomena, or will the ,Evil Winds of Neptune, sweep them away into the darkness of space?

So while Mundi and Oto experiment with different kinds of bridges, Doki and Gabi discover why the crabs are on the move in the first place - they're migrating to the shore, to lay eggs. --- When Gabi can't get her homemade butterfly kite off the ground, Doki wonders... how can we make a kite that will fly? Another Expedition Team knows, and they send Team Doki to a kite festival in HAMAMATSU, JAPAN, to find out! At the festival, the Team experiments with kite-making, flute playing and sushi rolling. Doki discovers what Gabi's butterfly kite lacked - a 'tail' to keep it pointed into the wind! The kite is fixed, just in time to rescue Oto from some hot wasabi, and even win a kite contest.

Meanwhile, Greengrass plans a French gourmet evening but it's a disaster thanks to David's clumsiness. Elsewhere, Blaketon comes into some money and forges a deal with Lord Ashfordly that sees big changes occur in the village.

Climate Watch Shorts: Urban heat island effect
Dense metropolitan areas can be as much as 3C hotter than rural areas because of the amount of buildings, blacktop, people and cars. The City of Toronto instituted a bylaw in 2009 requiring every new building to have a green roof - a roof composed of plants that helps dissipate the accumulated heat. By 2100, Toronto will experience 65 days in a year where the temperature exceeds 30C.

Not all potatoes are the same, as Link discovers. In fact, some potatoes are better suited for boiling and potato salads, while other varieties are the right choice for Stuffed Baked Potatoes. Whatever the method of cooking, Link discovers it's always a good idea to prick a few holes in the potato, lest he get an Exploding Potato Situation! --- Link has a great recipe for Tzatziki, a Greek-style dip containing yogurt and cucumbers. When he discovers that he doesn't have enough yogurt, Link makes lemonade out of lemons -- or rather, yogurt out of milk -- using the remaining yogurt that is in the carton as his active culture. In order to wipe out unfriendly bacteria, Link demonstrates some sterilizing techniques.
